"The exhibition, her first solo show in Sweden, consists of a series of new works, which have been painted in Paris, Turin, Venice, Sweden and during a residency at Læsø, Denmark, in the studio of the late Per Kirkeby. The artistry of Westerlind circles around the process of painting. Inspired by the The London School’s expressive painters, which she studied during her London years, combined with the Venetian palette from her years in Venice, Westerlind has created a unique painterly language, combining movement and stillness."
